Our Senior Minister, Curt Bedwell, has a diversified background.  He is currently completing a BA in Religious Studies from Nations University in West Monroe, LA.  He also has attained a Biblical and Ministry Studies degree from Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas, and a Robotics and Electronics degree from Vincennes University in Indiana.

Curt married Tonya on August 15, 1992 in their hometown Sullivan, IN.  They have 6 children at home and 1 that is married and attending Wayland Baptist University in Plainview Texas.  His children at home include 3 girls, Jennifer, Emma and Curtni and 3 boys, Joey, Curtis and Eli.

He grew up in a Christian home where Christ was taught as the center focus of daily living.  He began his professional career in the technical profession, which later included motivational and educational speaking as a trainer.  After much prayer and preparation he and his family changed their focus to fulltime ministry.  They then made the move to attend SIBI in Texas.  He worked as a Family Life and Youth Minister while attaining his Biblical and Ministry Studies degree.  After graduation and prior to coming to Amherst he was the preaching minister for a church in Illinois where he also held the position as a Christian school Administrator.

He enjoys fishing and golfing but mostly likes family focused activities.
